What is a muse?
A muse… let’s stop right there a take that space out between the two words and join into one. “Amuse” already begins to define what a muse does. She, and by she I mean me, beguiles and seduces you into awakening into the richest, most alive version of you.
Let’s talk about you. You’re an outwardly successful, lovely, charming man who is, if you’re honest with yourself, stretched to the seams making everyone else happy. You do your best to be a good man. You might be in a sexless marriage or a string of not-quite-satisfying relationships. You might be running a company or division that you wonder sometimes if you belong in. If this is you, you might be suffering chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, or depression for so long you’ve forgotten it could be any different. You have a sense that a more activated life lies just beyond your reach.
We live in a culture that’s stripped us from the tools to access our inner knowing a.k.a. our deepest wisdom. All of the pathways and tools to get there have been demonized or shamed. Our bodies damn well know a “fuck yes” when they feel one. If you have only a vague idea of what I’m talking about but wish you did, you’re my ideal client.
This isn’t talk therapy. There’s nothing wrong with it, I’m simply uninterested in coloring inside their boxes. Some of my most valuable and laser-sharp tools are ones they specifically disavow in their terms of service. I’m happy to detail which and why in person. Schedule a free intro call and we’ll hash out all your questions.
This is not executive coaching, psychology or a counseling. I’m a dominatrix healer, what was known to the Greeks as a priestess. That might seem like a bit much, so let me explain. In ye olden times, when a solider came off the battlefield with what we would call PTSD today, they were taken to the temples and put back into their bodies by those multi-talented women. That’s me. Hi, I’m Cris, muse and priestess at your service. You might not think of yourself as having come off a battlefield or having PTSD, but our modern way of life has left us all ragged.
My methods with be totally tailored to your exact goals and personality. No two clients are the same and even with the same client the sessions will evolve from one to the next. And no, I don’t need to tie you up and beat you (unless that’s your thing, in which case I can so go there). I have a whole toolbox we can explore together.
Healing is fun, flirty, juicy, perversely and orgasmically pleasurable. If you’re in a monogamous relationship, no we’re not going to be cheating on your partner. Yes, we are going to crack you open to the bright red beating heart in your chest that’s been waiting to come out and play.
What some satisfied clients say…
“We shared a beautiful moment together that was slightly outside my usual existence, as if I stepped outside of the script for awhile. Thinking back about it brings back the butterflies and makes me starry eyed – some kind of reminder that life is made of infinite possibilities and that at any point you can pick colors you’ve never even seen before to paint your next stroke. You did that for me.”
– Patrice, tech executive
“This session was everything I hoped for and more. Like dominoes falling, hang ups dropping by the wayside. My brain is responding differently, more gently, more constructively. This is fucking AMAZING. Can’t wait to discuss Friday.”
– Matias, president and founder
“You’re like a transformation doula. I was moved to tears because it was about the most seen I’ve felt in a long time. You unlocked me in so many ways. Wow, I feel really grounded and whole.”
– Jacob, executive director

A poem
Wild Geese by Mary Oliver
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting --
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
